Woohoo! Time for a new video game!
I’ve always been a big fan of the Metal Gear franchise despite all its ups and downs. The start of the new year brings a new and revamped Metal Gear Rising, casually subtitled ‘Revengeance’ (Ooo fancy…).
The game itself focuses on a hack and slash approach to Metal Gear. Which is, you know, nice. The espionage is completely optional. The game introduces Raiden as the central character; a child soldier transformed into a half-man, half-machine cyborg ninja, equipped with a high-frequency katana blade and a soul fueled by revenge.
